HMH Digital Marketing and Social Media Content
Role: Brand and Social Media Designer | Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
As the brand designer for the Content Marketing and Social teams, I produced print collateral, graphics, templates, and images for social media channels such as Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. I also heavily contributed to the visual design of HMH’s Shaped blog. During my time at HMH, I improved the Shaped blog’s visual imagery to include illustrations instead of just stock photography. Additionally, I collaborated with other teams in creating visuals such as infographics and banners to support national campaigns. I also prepared white papers, assisted in developing the email newsletters, edited content and copy, and updated branding across all platforms.
Here I provide GIFs and imagery I created to be used on Twitter and Instagram to promote the Shaped blog, which increased audience engagement for HMH on social media.
Some of the hero images I designed for the HMH Shaped blog, using both photography and illustration. I also designed graphics for the Teachers in America podcast that were promoted on the blog and across social media.

A sample of the social cards I created to promote HMH events, quotes from famous people, products, and more on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. I collaborated with another designer in the creation of social templates with a more playful tone that aligned with HMH’s branding and identity. They are shown on HMH’s Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts.
