Visual Design

Project Overview
Client: Logitech
Industry: Technology, Gaming
My Role: Senior Visual Designer
Timeline: ~14 days
Background
Logitech, a leading manufacturer of computer peripherals and software, was interested in increasing their revenue channels through onsite and email experiences. I worked on the onsite and email designs for Logitech and their gaming brand Logitech G for their US and CA territories.
Problem
A notable challenge during onboarding was both brands featuring their own unique branding guidelines to differentiate from each other in tone, imagery, and branding. At the time of the onboarding (March 2023), they had just undergone a major brand refresh and needed their experiences to reflect that change across all channels. The main goal was to make the designs as appealing as possible to encourage revenue conversion and match the refreshed look they had going for their brand.
Results
After finishing the designs, the client was impressed with the initial round of designs and only asked for 1 additional round of edits before pushing the designs to coding and going live. they are still a Wunderkind client and have seen an increase in revenue:
+$123Kin average monthly revenue from email alone | 3.66% average submit ratehigher than the industry standard of 2.0 |
Design Process
Working from concept to final product, initial designs are designed within Figma, combining necessary functional components with client brand standards, assets, and additional content to create a cohesive, communicative experience for the recipient. For the handheld console overlay, it was first mocked up in Adobe Illustrator before bringing it over to Figma for further work. To help differentiate the two brands, the main Logitech brand utilizes a light brand style versus G's dark style. We then further refined the differences through fun imagery and layout designs. To maintain their connection to each other, the type treatment is kept the same.
